• You've turned out to be an interesting chap, Banovsky. I'm looking forward to your non-vehicular content.

I'm reminded of how my own websites went this route. I started the DR site to talk about cars, my Galant VR4 rally car project specifically. Then I bought a second Galant, so it was about the pair. I reached a point where finances wouldn't allow me to post regular updates and I didn't want to ONLY talk about the Galants, so I started talking about other things.

This made the site seem odd, so I moved the Galants to their own domain. It was fairly liberating. Now I had the freedom to talk about whatever I wanted, but the trick was defining a common thread. Just as I was getting closer to cracking that nut, I started the Gearbox project and both of these sites have sort of gone back burner.

I love the Carchat site. There's a great team there providing exceptional news delivery, commentary, and community. Everytime I'm there, I remember you mentioning I should use Posterous for Gearbox, and how you might have been right. I enjoy participating, however slight.

Wishing you success (whatever that looks like) for this site in 2010.
  • Looks great Michael. Hearing about cars all the time can be boring too. I'm happy this site is more of a reflection of your personality. Should allow for a lot more of the Michael Banovsky I know to shine through. I love it. :)
