2022 Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One™ Team AMR22
The third car launched under new Formula 1 rules in 2022, the Aston Martin AMR22 at least looks like it belongs at the front of the grid
As the 2022 grid takes shape, Aston Martin is both the third car shown and the first to actually look somewhat final.
Whereas the Red Bull Racing and Haas F1 teams had fitted a number of demonstration-grade parts for their respective launches, the Aston Martin AMR22 seems closer to what we’ll see in the opening round in Bahrain on March 20.
Continuing with Mercedes-supplied power units within an all-new regulations-dictated shape, the AMR22 and Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One Team hope to improve over its 2021 season filled with few ups and several downs.
Lance Stroll and 4-time Driver’s World Champion Sebastian Vettel continue as drivers for the team.
“Our involvement in Formula One has already had an uplifting impact on all our employees and customers, helping us bring an agile Formula One performance mindset to the whole Aston Martin business…”
— Tobias Moers, Chief Executive Officer of Aston Martin Lagonda
