Before you get too excited that this is some late-’90s, Volkswagen VR6-powered, all-wheel-drive sports wagon that managed to slip under everyone’s radar…sorry.

If anything, make note of the year — 1977 — and consider that the overall aesthetic would have looked right at home well into the ’80s. Impressive, because the Glassback is a re-bodied Austin Princess.
